These eggs are produced in small, open air units run according to the principles of organic farming.GUIDE : WHOLEMEAL CEREALS and their PROPERTIES
- the hens are bred near to the Brittany coast where they benefit from invigorating air.
- they benefit from space and have free access to a large outside run
- 90% of their food comes from the products of organic farming, the remainder is natural products which have not had any chemical treatments.
- they are kept in good health with mild therapeutics (homéopathy, herbal medicine)FR.

40% of calories consumed come from cereals processed to a greater or lesser extent according to the continent. But for a cereal to give a useful protein it must, on the one hand, be produced from wholemeal organically farmed crops, and on the other hand be accompanied by a vegetable, for example :>Composition of a wholemeal grainmaize + red beans (South America) rice + yellow lentils or red beans (India) rice + green soya or azukis (far east)

- WHEAT: numerous forms (grains, ground, bulgar, semolina, couscous, bread), very rich in minerals and vitamins A, B(1, 2, 12), E, K, D, PPLE:
- ESPELT(German wheat): ancestor of wheat (WARNING: not suitable for persons who are allergic to GLUTEN)
- KAMUT: Egyptian wheat (as for wheat but more mineral salts)
- MAIZE : energising, moderator of the thyroid, laxative.
- MILLET: rich in phosphorous, magnesium, iron, vitamin A.
- BARLEY: energising, iron, magnesium, phosphorous.
- QUINOA: cereal of the Incas, contains lysine, an amino acid absent from all other cereals.
- RICE: rich in all minerals, vitamins A, B, B1, B2, B6, lowers blood pressure, aids the elimination of urea.
- SARRASIN: black wheat: record amount of magnesium, advised for arthritics on acid soils, and rheumatics.
- RYE: thins the blood, IRRITATES sensitive intestines.

Ability to find the history of a product... According to the nature and origin of the ingredients,. Putting in place supplies of French organic soya.. "Ability to find the history of a product,
its use or its location by means of recorded identifications”, according to the definition in the regulations, traceability came to complete the rules for the use of the logo AB before the chickens unfortunately came to the forefront. Products of Organic farming (fr) in this way come within the scope of an extra guarantee. Effectively, the use of the logo AB for raw or processed produce is only authorised today on condition of knowing all about the origin and route of the produce.return to products
According to the nature and origin of the ingredients,
indicates SETRAB*, it is thus essential to furnish:
- a certificate “Produce of Organic farming”(fr) for each ingredient of French origin.
- a certificate “Produce of Organic farming” for the product, whatever its origin and that of its ingredients
- a certificate by the supplier guaranteeing the origin and organic authenticity of each ingredient (from the EEC or third world)
- an import authorisation for the ingredients or produce coming from the third world.
However the progressive implementation of this approach merits being underlined. Before being adopted during the course of 1999, these measures for effective traceability clearly concerned products yet to come rather than those which have already seen the light of day. On the other hand, it already appears that French channels have responded more easily to theses selective criteria.
As to certain developing countries, it can be difficult to provide us with the regulatory elements on the origin of the produce under the measure when land registers don’t yet exist there!
